How to get into the Nirvana Band, the ‘allman brother’ group that’s got a cult following: A guide

“It’s a bit like the Grateful Dead,” says Robert Einhorn, an American journalist and author of “Nirvana: A Biography,” who attended the show.

“It has a kind of mysticism and magic to it.”

The band’s influence is so pervasive, even its songs are considered cult classics.

The band had two albums released in the 1980s: 1991’s “Dark Side of the Moon” and 1992’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

Its last two albums, 1997’s “Boys Don’t Cry” and 1999’s “The Long Goodbye,” also went platinum.

Nirvana’s “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” is also a cult classic.

“They were so good,” Einhorn says of the band’s early years.

“The songs were really, really good.

It’s almost like they were the Beatles.”

The group was founded in 1974 by Kurt Cobain, an electrician and music writer who had been depressed for years after his wife left him for Courtney Love.

Nirvana was one of the first rock bands to adopt the “hard rock” genre, and its members were influenced by bands such as Black Sabbath, Guns N’ Roses and The Doors.

The group had a hit record with “Nevermind,” the first song to be covered by the band.

Nirvana also became one of only two rock bands with two albums in the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The other, Pink Floyd, had two hits and three #1 albums in 1977 and 1978.

Kurt Cobains wife, Courtney Love, died in 1998.

“I have so many regrets,” Cobain once said of his band’s late 1990s fame.

“There were some great songs in that band.

I think we all kind of feel guilty about that.”

The “S” band was a spinoff of the group called Nirvana in 1981.

It was led by Kurt, who went by the stage name Nirvana, and the group’s two members, singer Krist Novoselic and bassist Kurt Ballou.

Krist Novoslic and Kurt Ballouch, the group members who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.

The two musicians had their own musical styles.

Novoselc was known for playing blues-inspired music and Ballou played jazz-influenced pop.

“We just got a chance to be the best at what we do and it just didn’t work,” Novosells younger brother, Dave Novosels, said.

“Krist is really talented, but he just wasn’t that person.”

Novoselc and Ballouch formed the “S,” a spin-off of their name that morphed into “The Allman Brothers Band.”

The brothers played a variety of music genres, from the blues to rock to country.

“You had to be in a band to be successful in that era,” Krist Novuslic told the Los Angeles Times in 1999.

“If you were a rocker, you were in a rock band.

If you were an American, you weren’t in a country band.

That’s how it was in those days.”

The Allmans had their ups and downs, but they remained united.

They released four studio albums and four singles, including songs such as “Smoke on the Water,” “Never Mind the Bollocks,” “Smell the Roses” and “All of Me.”

Novooselic died in 2012 and Ballour died in 2018.

“Everything we did, everything we tried to do, it just couldn’t happen,” Krist told the Associated Press in 2013.

“That’s what made us so successful.”

Nirvana was founded by Kurt and Courtney Love in 1974.

Kurt was diagnosed with cancer in 1986 and the band disbanded.

The members split up in 1992, and Krist and Novoselyl returned to the group in 1996.

Krist, who was known as the “Father of Rock and Rap,” was inducted in 1997.

He later married Courtney.

Novo’s career spanned a number of genres, including punk, alternative rock and country.

He recorded the albums “Stingray,” “Hurt,” “Let’s Dance” and several others.

Krist died in 2002.

Novos was inductee into the Grammy Hall of Honor in 2016 and the Rock & Roll Hall, which has honored musicians from all genres since 1974, in 2012, with its first lifetime achievement award.
